Responsible Gambling Tools and Advice at CrashPirate

How We Help You Set a Budget and Keep to It

Gambling at CrashPirate is meant as entertainment that costs money, in the same way as a night at the cinema, and it should never be treated as a way to earn income or recover earlier losses. Decide on an amount before you open the lobby, choose a sum you could lose without changing your plans for the month, and stop when it has gone. Money set aside for rent, bills or savings does not belong in your cashier.

The account settings give you tools to enforce that budget, and they can be activated at any time.

ToolWhat it doesWhere to find it

A tighter limit takes effect immediately. Loosening or removing a limit is different: it only applies after a cooling-off period, so a decision made in the middle of a losing session cannot undo a decision made calmly. Two-factor authentication is also available and stops another person opening your account on a shared device.

Signs That Gambling Is Becoming a Problem

Problem gambling rarely announces itself. It usually shows up as a change in behaviour that is easy to explain away, such as depositing more than you planned, chasing a loss with a bigger stake, or playing for longer than the reminder said you had. Other signs include borrowing money to gamble, hiding activity from family, feeling irritable when you cannot play, and losing interest in things you used to enjoy.

If two or more of these sound familiar, set a deposit limit today and contact support at [email protected] so that we can help you configure restrictions or start a self-exclusion. Speaking to someone outside the casino is just as valid, and the organisations further down this page are free.

How We Protect Under-18s

CrashPirate accepts players aged 18 or over only. You confirm your date of birth at registration, and when we run verification we compare it against a passport or UK photocard driving licence and a proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement. An account found to belong to a person under 18 is closed and any bonus is voided.

Adults share responsibility for keeping children away from gambling sites. If a child has access to your phone, tablet or computer, turn on Screen Time on iPhone and iPad or Google Family Link on Android, keep passwords and saved card details out of reach, and do not stay signed in to your CrashPirate account on a shared device.

Where You Can Get Help

Free, confidential support is available in the UK at any hour. GamCare runs the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, open 24 hours a day. Gordon Moody offers residential treatment and support for gambling-related harm on 01384 241292. Gamblers Anonymous holds peer support meetings across England, Wales and Ulster and can be reached on 0330 094 0322. If gambling is affecting your mood or safety, Samaritans answer free on 116 123.

GAMSTOP is the national online self-exclusion scheme, but it only covers operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. CrashPirate is not one of them, so registering with GAMSTOP does not block your CrashPirate account. To exclude yourself from our site, use the self-exclusion option in your account settings or email [email protected].
